Motivation – Inspiration

Inside of you, love and joy live –
They may be present in your awareness,
Or they may be hidden
By grief, anger or resentment.
This ball of love exists nonetheless.
To feel this love – to have it color your life
Each moment, each hour, all day – do this:
Close your eyes,
Find where this love lives in you.
Examine it, what does it look like?
How does it feel to touch it?
What shape is it?
What color is it?
Now step into this ball of love & joy and
Now imagine projecting it to someone.
Perhaps someone close to you.
See them accepting your gift,
And see them smiling and sending their love back to you.
Now, do or say something that will better someone else,
Without any expectation of being acknowledged or paid.
How do you feel now?
How do you feel as your love grows inside?

When was the last time you sent your love to someone?
When was the last time you fully accepted God’s love for you?
Make an intention to send (project) your love to someone, and to accept God’s love for you – in this very moment.

“Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what he is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of – throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up the towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.” – C.S. Lewis
