Clients learn effective stress reduction tools, beneficial for not only stress management, but that have also been found helpful and effective in pain reduction, anxiety, alcohol & drug problems, PTSD, panic attacks, anger management, grief issues, inner peace, and more.
Meditation, hypnosis, guided visualization, having someone compassionate and nonjudgmental to talk with are all effective methods for reducing stress, even when other methods may have had little effect. Initial appointments for Stress Reduction sessions include assessment, conversation, guidance and practice of stress reduction techniques.
